As of version 4.0.5 Build 22 for Windows and 4.0.9 for macOS, users of FrameForge Storyboard Studio 4 can now re-use the fruits of their creativity instead of wasting time re-creating the work they've already done. The latest update to this powerful virtual film studio brings a host of new features, including the Percolate Rerender from Current Camera wizard functionality.

Prior to this release, users had to launch the Shot Manager, clone existing key-frames, add new cameras and tween the new sequence in order to re-shoot scenes from different angles, perspectives and focal lengths. This was a time-consuming and laborious process that could compromise the integrity of the dressed set. Now, with the Percolate Rerender function, users can quickly and easily re-render existing sequences from different camera viewpoints without violating the original set.

The new feature allows users to select a different camera (or add a new one) and launch the Percolate Rerender from Current Camera wizard functionality from the Percolate menu. This non-destructive process enables users to add new shots and tweens to an existing sequence, or replace the entire sequence with ease.

In practical terms, this means that FrameForge Storyboard artists can now re-render an existing scene in its entirety from the viewpoint of a different camera.
